Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through Continental HVAC’s online store at store.continentalhvac.com.
1. Order Processing
All orders are subject to payment authorization and product availability. We begin processing orders after your payment has been successfully received.
Processing times may vary depending on item availability, preorder status, order volume, holidays, and carrier pickup schedules. “Business days” means Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.
If a product page or checkout page states a specific processing time, estimated ship date, or preorder window, that timing controls for that item.
2. Preorders and Backorders
Some products may be offered as preorder or backorder items. When an item is marked as preorder or backorder, the estimated shipping timeframe shown on the product page or at checkout applies to that item.
If your order includes both in-stock and preorder items, we may ship the order together when all items are available, unless we state otherwise.
Preorder and backorder dates are estimates only and may change due to production, inventory, shipping, or supplier delays.
3. Shipping Methods and Rates
Available shipping methods, shipping charges, and estimated delivery timeframes are shown at checkout.
We reserve the right to use the carrier and shipping service we believe is most appropriate for your order, unless a specific shipping method is selected and paid for at checkout.
4. Delivery Estimates
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
Once an order has been shipped and accepted by the carrier, delivery timing is outside our direct control. Carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, customs, labor interruptions, high shipment volume, or other events beyond our reasonable control may occur.
5. Shipping Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, we may require payment of additional shipping charges before reshipping the order.
6. Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations will be possible after an order is placed. Once an order has entered processing or has shipped, it may no longer be changed or canceled.
Preorder cancellations may be handled case by case and may be subject to payment processor fees, nonrefundable third-party costs, or other reasonable deductions where permitted by law.
7. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, appears to be lost, or is significantly delayed, please contact us promptly.
For damaged shipments, please keep the packaging and provide photos of the package, shipping label, and item so we can review the issue and, where applicable, assist with a carrier claim.
If tracking shows that a package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check with household members, neighbors, building staff, or the carrier. We may assist where possible, but we cannot guarantee replacement or refund for packages marked delivered by the carrier.
8. International Orders
If international shipping is made available at checkout, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, import fees, or similar charges imposed by the destination country, unless otherwise stated.
International delivery delays caused by customs clearance or local carrier issues are outside our control.
